From a humble beginning in late 1988 when a group of Singaporeans living in Sydney realised that there were a significant number of Singaporeans in NSW to form a club.  They discussed the idea with the Singapore High Commission, various individuals and Singapore organisations and in early 1989, Temasek Club was formed with a pro tem committee tasked to draft the Constitution for the Club.

Temasek Club was officially incorporated on the 26th October 1989 when the Certificate of incorporation was issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission of New South Wales.  From thence, the Club grew from strength to strength and with the tremendous support of our members, we were able to hold exciting events throughout the year.
