A beautiful morning with perfect weather set the scene for our monthly walk. 50 members and friends gathered at Circular Quay Ferry Wharf at 8:30 AM, full of energy and excitement. We caught the ferry to South Mosman and then a short bus ride took us to Middle Head, where we began our walk on the newly upgraded track—a $9.5 million project completed in March. The harbour views along the way were breathtaking!
The first stretch to Georges Head was an easy and enjoyable start. The walk to Chowder Bay was a bit more challenging, where 16 members finished their hike. The remaining 34 adventurers pressed on from Bradleys Head to Taronga Zoo, navigating muddy paths but proud to complete the full trail.
We wrapped up with a relaxing ferry ride back to Circular Quay. To top off the day, 13 of us continued on the light rail to Kingsford for a hearty lunch at Albee’s Kitchen—and brought home over 30 tasty zhangs!
